Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Nature provides a plentiful bounty of materials that can be used to produce color. In this workshop students will learn to identify some of the common plants available for use in the dye pot. Harvesting, storage and preparation will be covered as well as the basics of dyeing.

This workshop is one in which students contribute actively to the dye pots ( see what students should bring for details). All students will take home sample skeins produced from the materials supplied by their classmates.

This workshop is held in a heated tent.
