Using traditional needlework techniques in untraditional ways, I make felted constructions from locally sourced fleece and vintage china doll parts as well as whimsical pin cushions felted into vintage tea cups, little shoes and other found oddments. Other elements include foraged and preserved natural materials such as nests, vines and feathers, vintage textiles, hand knit and tatted embellishments, and anything else that catches my eye. Dolls range from 3" to 18".
